Clean Desk provides automated KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance services designed to help accounting firms and businesses with:

  • Document verification

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use our services, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the authority to bind your organization to these terms

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • The accuracy of information you submit through our services

Acceptable Use

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our services are owned by Clean Desk and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our services for your internal business purposes, subject to these terms.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information received during the course of the business relationship.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Clean Desk harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by providing written notice.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You breach these terms
  • Your account is inactive for an extended period
  • Required by law or regulatory authorities
  • We discontinue the services

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to access our services immediately ceases
  • We may delete your data according to our data retention policies
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect

Changes to Terms

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Assignment

You may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign these terms to any successor or affiliate.
